Finished in Blu Tour de France over Tan 4208 leather, this 550 Maranello presents one of the most distinctive and desirable factory specifications offered on the model. The interior is further defined by Blu carpets, a Blu 3282 dashboard, and a matching Blu 3282 steering wheel, creating a cohesive and highly considered colour combination. Of the 457 examples delivered new to the UK, just 72 were specified in Blu Tour de France, placing this car among the rarest UK supplied colour configurations.
Delivered new by Graypaul Loughborough and first registered on the 2nd of January 1999, the car was supplied at a list price of £152, 000. The original purchase invoice remains with the car, noting the fact that the first owner part exchanged both a Ferrari 328 GTS and a TVR Cerbera 4. 5 as part of the purchase.
From first delivery, the car’s history file documents consistent maintenance and careful custodianship, with subsequent ownership continuing the same considered approach through regular specialist attention, with no fewer than 18 services documented within the file.
In June 2020, a set of original Ferrari 550 Barchetta wheels was purchased and fitted to the car, subtly enhancing its stance while remaining entirely period correct. The original set of wheels is retained and accompanies the car.
A defining chapter in the car’s later history is the extensive mechanical and cosmetic restoration carried out in 2021 to the tune of £35, 000. This work is exceptionally well documented, both photographically and through detailed invoices, and addressed a wide range of mechanical systems, suspension components, cooling and braking hardware, as well as extensive cosmetic detailing. The work was undertaken with a clear emphasis on returning the car to the standard expected of a well preserved 550 Maranello.
Today, showing just 30, 414 miles, this example is accompanied by its original book pack including the service book, original luggage set, original and complete tool kit, original tyre inflator, two keys, a comprehensive folio of documentation, and the original set of wheels including tyres.
Serviced in late November 2025 by Furlonger Specialist Cars in preparation for sale, this immaculate 550 Maranello is available to view by appointment only at our showroom just outside London.
Creaghton Collectibles partners with leading finance providers to offer bespoke funding solutions. In addition, a comprehensive warranty is included as standard, commencing from the date of sale.

The Model
Introduced in 1996, the Ferrari 550 Maranello marked a decisive return to Ferrari’s front-engined V12 grand touring lineage. Replacing the rear mid-engined flat twelve Testarossa series, the 550 re-established Ferrari’s front-engined V12 Berlinetta formula, pairing a naturally aspirated 5. 5 litre V12 with a six speed manual gearbox and rear wheel drive. It was a car conceived around balance and mechanical integrity, rather than outright numbers, and one that has since become a reference point for Ferrari’s modern GT era.
Producing 485 bhp, the 550 delivered its performance with a level of refinement and usability that set it apart from its predecessors. A rear-mounted transaxle ensured excellent weight distribution, while Pininfarina’s restrained and elegant design has aged with remarkable grace. Today, the 550 is widely regarded as one of the most complete road going Ferraris of the modern era, combining analogue driving engagement with long distance capability. Total production amounted to 3, 083 cars, with 457 delivered new to the UK in RHD configuration.
